They are looking to add a Trading Associate to a fast-paced desk. This is a hands-on role supporting execution, trade operations, and client service across a mix of asset classes, suited to someone with a solid foundation in trading or brokerage operations who is looking to broaden their experience and take on more ownership.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Execute and manage trades across client and firm accounts, owning the process from order to settlement
  • Handle transactions across a range of asset classes, including equities, options, and other securities products, with growing responsibility as your book expands
  • Utilize industry-standard electronic trading platforms to drive efficient, accurate order execution
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, operations, and clients to keep trade processing fast, clean, and on time
  • Take ownership of trade monitoring, including allocations, corrections, and reconciliations
  • Manage margin-related account activity and serve as a proactive point of contact for clients on relevant account events
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve trade discrepancies before they become bigger problems
  • Prepare and deliver trade confirmations and execution quality reporting on a consistent, recurring basis

Qualifications:

  • FINRA Series 7, 63, and 57 licenses (or well on your way to obtaining them)
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in broker-dealer trading, operations, or a related capital markets role
  • Strong working knowledge of equities, options, and other securities products
  • Experience with industry-standard electronic trading platforms and broker-dealer operational workflows a strong plus
  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Polished communication and client service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard financial industry systems
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy in a small, high-performing team
  • Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and brokerage operations
  • Track record of identifying and resolving operational issues proactively
  • Collaborative mindset with the range to contribute across functions
