Senior Wealth Advisor / Partner

Succession & Long-Term Transition Opportunity

Position Overview

Our client is one of the fastest growing, and most respected independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) serving high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and business owners across the U.S. This role presents a unique succession and long-term partnership opportunity for tenured advisors who are beginning to think about their next professional chapter—whether that involves scaling back, sharing client responsibilities, or building a lasting legacy alongside a trusted team.

Designed for experienced advisors who aren’t necessarily seeking a full exit or immediate buyout, this partnership allows for a gradual transition that enhances client service while reducing operational burdens. The firm provides a flexible, customized revenue-sharing model that enables advisors to retain earnings from their existing client relationships while ensuring those clients benefit from a team-based advisory approach.

Whether your goal is to lessen daily workload, transition toward eventual retirement, or elevate your clients’ experience by leveraging a broader advisory platform, this is a collaborative, client-first transition path with no pressure to sell or fully step away.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the firm’s leadership and service team to gradually transition client servicing to a team-based model while maintaining strategic involvement.
  • Enhance the client experience by expanding services and deepening relationships through a collaborative advisory process.
  • Participate in a relationship-centered handoff process designed to protect client trust and ensure continuity without pressure for immediate exit.
  • Benefit from ongoing revenue participation via a customized revenue-sharing agreement, retaining long-term earnings from your client base.
  • Option to remain engaged as a senior advisor, strategic consultant, or mentor, supporting both client relationships and the next generation of advisors.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives such as thought leadership, growth strategy, or business development, if desired.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience advising HNW or UHNW clients as a lead advisor, financial planner, or private client specialist.
  • Established book of business with $25M+ in assets under management (AUM) preferred, supported by long-term, trust-based client relationships.
  • Interest in transitioning toward a more flexible role, sharing client responsibilities, or reducing operational workload without fully exiting the industry.
  • Commitment to ensuring clients continue receiving best-in-class service through a team-based, fiduciary advisory model.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to partner with a collaborative, independent firm that prioritizes client care and long-term relationships.
  • Willingness to participate in a revenue-sharing structure that provides ongoing earnings without requiring a full buyout or forced exit.
