  • Managing day-to-day fund operations, including oversight of third-party fund administrators.
  • Reviewing and approving capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and carried interest allocations.
  • Leading the preparation and review of quarterly and annual fund financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Coordinating annual fund audits and managing relationships with external auditors.

  • Overseeing the preparation and delivery of investor reporting, including capital notices, quarterly reports, and ad-hoc LP communications.
  • Supporting fundraising and investor due diligence efforts by providing fund data and performance reporting.
  • Partnering with investment teams on deal execution support, portfolio monitoring, and financial analysis.
  • Driving process improvements, operational best practices, and technology enhancements across the finance function.
  • Acting as a key liaison between senior leadership, external service providers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and private equity fund experience, including:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or public/private accounting with a focus on private equity or alternative investments.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP for investment funds, partnership accounting, capital call and distribution mechanics, management fee, and carried interest calculations.
  • Prior experience with private equity fund structures, including commingled funds, co-investment vehicles, and closed-end partnerships.
