Pricing Strategy and Innovation (Finance)

 

Position Overview:

Our client is a leading global professional services firm, recognized as best in class. They serve as a trusted adviser to the world's foremost businesses, governments, and institutions. As part of the Finance team, the Director of Pricing Strategy and Innovation, will work with local finance and client capability communities on the topic of offerings and alternative pricing models. This role will work closely with the global Pricing Arrangements Client Enablement portfolio in terms of operations/processes to implement, data and analytics to inform and digital transformation to modernize / codify firm approaches. 

 

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Lead, shape and implement a growing suite of innovative client service offerings. 
  • Oversee, steer, and inform broader discussions around value and impact-based pricing (both proactively and in response to identified opportunities. (Including costing/pricing decisions, constituent management, operational implementation, and performance management / insights).
  • Play a leadership role in the effort to innovate firm operating model through technology, operational efficiency and/or communication models to accelerate the movement to “beyond per diems”.  
  • Codify and scale operating model to understand, translate and advise how to structure and price alternative delivery models.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to problem solve and provide input on targeted issues as needed. Stay abreast of economic and market changes and update polices and best practices accordingly. 
  • In conjunction with rest of PACE team, execute operational and system changes required to support global pricing strategic priorities. 

 

Qualifications

  • MBA or other relevant advanced graduate degree                 
  • 10+ years of finance or related experience
  • Pricing experience in a professional services or similar environment
  • Multi-national experience or exposure (+)
  • Experience establishing credibility and managing a critical set of responsibilities
  • Familiarity with financial systems
  • Outstanding strategic, analytical, business problem solving and execution skills
  • Sound business judgment and impeccable ethics combined with professional demeanor and bearing
  • Understanding and appreciation for local context and requirements
  • Strong leader with a collaborative style and ability to develop and motivate teams in a distributed environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to convey information as the basis for sound decision making
  • High energy, responsive, quality orientation and comfortable operating in a fast-paced autonomous environment 
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a bias for action and passion for results
