Total compensation is targeted at $150K - $225K, to be determined on candidate's credentials, experiences, and potential value to the department / firm.
Manager Investor Relations
Our client is a global investment firm (~$25 billion AUM) targeting investment in the financial services industry and related sectors. The firm invests in across the financial spectrum of alternative asset classes, including private equity, liquid /private credit funds, and managed accounts. They also offer dedicated financing solutions. To portfolio companies and clients by providing tailored financing solutions.
Currently, they are seeking to hire a Manager for their Investor Relations team. This growth-oriented position will play a key role in the continued development of an expanding team and firm. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the alternative asset space, working with senior business leaders delivering meaningful results across several functions including, Business Planning /Management, Marketing, Fundraising, and Client Engagement / Client Service.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Drive project management for fundraises, client related initiatives and product development, including coordinating closely with deal teams, sales channels, legal, operations and other teams.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and understand the firm’s competitive positioning.
- Play a key role in the ongoing development and maintenance of a full suite of product marketing and client content, including presentation materials, due diligence materials, internal training materials, periodic client communications and events (Pitchbook, PPM, DDQs, etc…)
- Support fundraising by delivering relevant materials, thought leadership, and responses to clients, completing RFPs, preparing materials and speaking notes for senior leadership, and leading client diligence for a global set of clients.
- Facilitate client reporting and related communications and activities.
- Aid in Product Strategy team’s role as the liaison between the client, and all other areas of the firm.

Own the coordination and preparation of investor reports, presentations and communications including:
- Quarterly fund investor reports
- Quarterly call presentations
- Quarterly case studies
- Annual meeting presentations
- Investor meeting materials
- Fund/transaction updates
- Investment summary writeups
- Marketing materials
- Ad-hoc reports, presentations, and communications
- Provide ongoing support of existing investors, monitoring and responding promptly to questions and requests.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of IR Reporting / Client Reporting / Client Service experience within the alternative investment industry. (Strategy, Consulting, Investment Banking or Portfolio Management experiences considered as well)
- BA/BS Degree
- Superior ability to synthesize complex information and convey it in a clear, concise, engaging way
- Strong analytical skillset with high level of intellectual curiosity to drive differentiated insights
- Track record of partnering with investment teams to create and update strong, consistent suite of core product marketing and client-service materials, in effort to effectively convey firms' product awareness
- Experience collaborating with teams across all regions to develop meaningful marketing materials such as, sales pitch-books, strategy books, client reviews, conference presentations and educational materials for both internal and external use.
