Position Overview:

Our client is a leader in providing an institutional capital markets platform, servicing professional investors with complex global needs. They specialize in offering Prime Brokerage, Securities Financing, Agency Execution and Correspondent Clearing services. Their clients primarily trade U.S. equity, options and debt.


Currently, our client is seeking to hire an experienced Sales Professional to join their New York based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded Sales Professional to further develop their career as the firm continues to grow.  They will be supported by “best in class” teams within operations and technology, utilizing state of art technology.


The ideal candidate will have strong selling experience to small and mid-sized hedge funds, including emerging managers and must demonstrate a track record of success in prime brokerage.


Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Acquire and advise clients on all aspects of Prime services
  • Continuously maintain an active prospect pipeline
  • Source prospective clients
  • Shape current offerings to a more attractive product driven architecture
  • Actively develop and nurture client relations
  • Grow revenue through cross selling initiatives (i.e. agency execution, stock loan, repo, etc.)
  • Help further the corporate brand throughout the alternative investment community



  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or other related field
  • FINRA Series 7
  • 10+ years of relevant Prime Brokerage sales experience
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly organized and able to multitask
  • Must have ability to work effectively and independently under supervision
  • Must be free thinker, self-starter, and comfortable in a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
